The Graduate School PATHS can help you identify financial aid opportunities suited to your project in collaboration with other services, including the International Office at JMU. Some options include:

Eiffel Excellence Scholarships

Financial Aid for PhD Candidates

Requests for financial aid for doctoral studies are, except in rare cases, linked to a specific research topic for which a candidate is being recruited. Depending on the context, financial aid is generally managed by the doctoral school, the laboratory, or the supervisor proposing the research topic. PATHS can assist supervisors in seeking potential funding or submitting applications but does not administer doctoral scholarships.
